Benefit | highway patrol guided ride in honor of State HWY Patrol officer David Shawn Blanton Jr - On July 26th Parkway HD / Gene Lummus HD will host a highway patrol guided ride in honor of State HWY Patrol officer David Shawn Blanton Jr. who was killed while making a vehicle stop on I-40 near Canton. The ride will start at Parkway HD and go to Cherokee Festival grounds in Cherokee NC. Line up starts at 10 am and the ride leaves (all bikes) Parkway HD at noon. There will be a $25.00 donation per bike and all proceeds go to his family. The $25.00 includes a pin a Tee Shirt and a BBQ dinner. Other event info will be available soon.
